For COVID-19, no vaccine, treatment or other intervention is 100% available or effective for all existing and future variants.

Several practical, effective, and safe means may be used to improve an individual's odds of successfully preventing or treating COVID-19.

Ivermectin (IVM) combined with other medications (fluvoxamine, hydroxychloroquine+zinc, etc.) and supplements has apparent efficacy for prevention and treatment of COVID-19 ... including "breakthrough" COVID-19 for those vaccinated.

IVM for COVID-19 has been found to have 20 mechanisms of beneficial action … more than other medications.

IVM also has a long and excellent safety record in humans and is very low cost to produce.

IVM is uniquely suited to treat COVID-19 given its anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties.

The efficacy of IVM is supported by results from 64 controlled trials, 32 of them randomized, and 16 double-blinded.

A summary analysis of these trials finds statistically significant reductions in transmission, time to recovery, hospitalization, and death.

Due to its several and particular mechanisms of action, IVM likely is effective against variants of SARS-CoV-2.

As most other medications have lost efficacy against the Omicron variant, IVM appears to retain its effectiveness with Omicron.

In African countries where IVM routinely has been used pre COVID-19 to treat other diseases, deaths from COVID-19 are significantly lower. Anaylsis of all factors (average age, climate, other medications, etc.) concludes IVM likely is the explanation for the advantage in deaths.

Ivermectin is a WHO and USA FDA-approved drug. Since 1981, 4 billion doses have been taken by humans worldwide saving millions of lives. Satoshi Ōmura and William C. Campbell were awarded the Nobel Prize for discovering Ivermectin to treat humans.
